Erica focuses her practice on white collar defense, government enforcement, commercial litigation and internal investigations.
Prior to joining Stumphauzer Foslid Sloman Ross & Kolaya, Erica was a litigation associate in the Washington, DC office of multinational law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where she represented Fortune 50 companies in matters ranging from complex federal litigation to investigations by federal, state and foreign government regulators. Erica has significant experience practicing opposite the United States Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, Federal Trade Commission and Department of Labor. She worked closely with the firm’s clients including preeminent financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers and technology firms.
From 2015 to 2016, Erica served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Paul C. Huck, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
Pro Bono Work
- Erica is dedicated to serving the community and maintains a robust pro bono practice in matters related to civil rights, prison reform, asylum, juvenile justice, disability rights, domestic violence and Holocaust reparations. In this practice, Erica has partnered with notable civil rights advocacy organizations and law clinics. She has submitted pro bono amicus curiae briefs to the United States Supreme Court and federal appellate courts.
